Taigan spends time educating potential home owners about the home buying and selling processes while providing transparency to the process and the industry. Taigan also is a co-owner of Plummer’s Makes and Bakes, a business which sells homemade baked goods, primarily at the Warrensburg Farmers Market. Taigan is grateful to be a survivor of a rare illness called Guillain-Barre Syndrome and she is now in recovery from the subsequent paralysis below her waist and in her hands.
But there’s more … Taigan is an active member of our community in many other capacities. She serves on several organization’s committees including Warrensburg Main Street, Old Drum Animal Shelter and the City of Warrensburg’s Sustainability Task Force. She is not only a board member of the Fuller Center of JoCoMo, but also of Survival Adult Abuse Center (formerly, Survival House).
Taigan commented, “I am most excited for my newest journey as a board member of Fuller Center. I have always had a burning passion for improving housing inequity, as I feel that everyone deserves a roof over their heads. When I first heard about the Fuller Center, I knew I wanted to be involved. I am excited to further the Fuller Center’s mission of helping bridge the gaps between the traditional housing industry and low-income individuals and families, making people warmer, safer and drier.”
You may have heard the phrase “hit the ground running”. The origin of this phrase is disputed, but there is no dispute that Taigan “hit the ground running” when she joined the Fuller Center board. Her knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm has been nothing short of amazing.
